The Sustainable Warmth Cumbria Scheme is a council-backed scheme that allows
qualifying homeowners and landlords to have sustainable heating solutions put in place, such as upgraded insulation, air source heat pumps and/or solar panels installed free of charge or heavily subsidised.

The following improvements can be made to your home using funding from the Sustainable Warmth Cumbria Scheme:  

• Solid wall insulation (internal or external) 
• Cavity wall insulation 
• Loft, room-in-roof and flat roof insulation 
• Under-floor insulation 
• Air source heat pump  

• Solar thermal for hot water 
• Solar PV for electricity generation 
• High heat retention electric storage heaters
