Prevent costly repairs
Regular home maintenance can identify small issues early, before they develop into more expensive property repairs
Home maintenance can feel like one more thing to manage, especially when something stops working, your heating needs attention, or your renewable system is due a service.
Improveasy makes it simple. Our full service gives you one trusted team to turn to for professional maintenance, servicing and support, helping to keep your home safe, comfortable and running efficiently all year round.
As well as supporting local homeowners since 2011, Improveasy’s maintenance and energy services are trusted by some of the region’s most significant property stakeholders, from local authorities managing large social housing portfolios to private letting agents overseeing hundreds of residential units. You’re in safe hands.
Here are some of the trusted partners we work with every day.
Home maintenance is often easy to put off until something stops working. A small leak becomes water damage, a minor heating issue turns into a breakdown, or an overdue service leads to a more expensive repair at the worst possible time.
That is where reactive maintenance can quickly become stressful and costly. Finding the right tradesperson at short notice, arranging access and managing several different contractors can take time, especially when the problem needs urgent attention.
A more proactive approach makes looking after your home simpler. Regular servicing and planned maintenance can help identify issues early, protect the systems you rely on and reduce the risk of unexpected breakdowns. With one trusted maintenance partner, you also have a clear point of contact whenever your home needs attention.

If you’re evaluating maintenance providers for your portfolio, these are the questions that matter.
With Improveasy, a Property Maintenance Plan covers your statutory compliance checks (annual CP12 gas safety, five-yearly EICR), planned preventative servicing, reactive repairs, and emergency call-outs. The exact scope is built around your portfolio's needs, we don't sell you a package that includes things you don't require.
Planned (or preventative) maintenance is scheduled in advance, servicing your boilers before winter, testing fire systems on a schedule, carrying out compliance checks before they're due. Reactive maintenance is the response to things that go wrong unexpectedly: a boiler fault, a leak, an electrical issue. You need both. Portfolio Care covers both.
Three reasons. First, speed, when something goes wrong, you're calling one number rather than trying to remember which plumber covers which property. Second, accountability, one contractor is responsible for everything, so there's no finger-pointing between trades. Third, admin, one invoice, one relationship, one set of reports. For a multi-property portfolio, the time saving alone is significant.
Our Emergency Triage Support operates 24/7, 365 days a year. When a call comes in, we begin remote troubleshooting immediately and dispatch a qualified engineer as quickly as possible. The goal is always to minimise tenant disruption and resolve the issue at first visit, which is why we invest in remote diagnosis before anyone gets in a van.
As a minimum: an annual gas safety check (CP12) by a Gas Safe registered engineer, an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) every five years, and the property's structural integrity, heating, hot water, and sanitary systems in good working order. Fire safety obligations also apply. Improveasy manages all statutory compliance checks within our Property Maintenance Plans, nothing falls through the cracks.
Yes, and it's an underused opportunity. The Warm Homes Plan and the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (up to £7,500 for heat pump installation) are both accessible for landlords with eligible properties. Improveasy is an approved installer under both schemes. Contact us and we'll check what your portfolio qualifies for.
We're based in Manchester and primarily serve Greater Manchester and the wider North West, with UK-wide capability for larger portfolio clients. If you're unsure whether we cover your area, get in touch, we'll give you a straight answer.
