That’s why we are sponsoring local school football teams. We’re providing full “Kit Outs”, including goals, footballs, and any other additional equipment to help local students level up their game.

August 2025 Winners – Chadderton Park U16’s

A huge well done to Chadderton Park U16’s, winners of last month’s free football kit thanks to Improveasy! After 10 years of playing side by side, this great group of young lads are entering their final season together in the North Bury Junior League and we couldn’t be prouder to help mark the occasion with a new kit. Supporting teams like this is part of our commitment to strengthening local communities, alongside our work helping families make their homes warmer and greener across Greater Manchester.

A huge congratulations to Bridgewater FC Bullets, winners of this month’s Kit Out the Kids prize in partnership with Improveasy! This hardworking team of 15- to 16-year-olds give their all week after week, showing great dedication and team spirit. After struggling to find a sponsor, we’re proud to help them take to the pitch in brand-new kits that truly reflect their commitment. Supporting teams like this is part of our commitment to strengthening local communities, alongside our work helping families make their homes warmer and greener across Greater Manchester.

Competition rules

Please read rules before entering. By taking part, you agree to the rules and the promoter’s decision will be final.

Eligibility Criteria

Nominations must be submitted by individuals aged 18 or over.

Only schools within Greater Manchester are eligible.

Submission Guidelines

Incomplete or inaccurate nominations may be disqualified.

Only one nomination per team per month is allowed.

Prize Details

The winning school will receive one of the following prize packages: 2 branded nets, 10 branded balls, Other – up to value of £250

Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Winner Selection

Winners will be selected based on the strength of the nomination and at the discretion of the judging panel.

The winning school will be announced in the following month’s edition of UWS.
